I believe that when we feel good in our bodies, it opens the door to be able to more fully show up in our lives. I have spoken to so many who tout their age or their genes or their injuries as the reason they cannot move well. Having experienced chronic pain and the subsequent feeling of disempowerment myself, I am more convinced than ever that the way we move (or don’t move) matters. My passion lies in sharing how safe, mindful, and consistent movement has the power to turn back time and challenge our perception of what we are capable of achieving. While I have taken over a thousand hours of training with various teachers, my teaching is primarily inspired by the work of Lara Heimann, a physical therapist and yoga studio owner in Princeton, NJ. In the style of yoga that I teach, I emphasize strength, adaptability, playfulness, and sustainability. My wish for all of us is that our movement practices support wellness in our bodies, longevity in our brains, and joy in our spirits. I hope to practice with you soon, either online or in- person!

Anna’s passion, enthusiasm, and knowledge of anatomy is contagious and evident in her practice and teaching. Connecting mind and body through her teaching of yoga has greatly inspired me in directions never expected. Through her guidance in various exercises and myofascial release techniques I notice my mobility, stability, and flexibility increasing. Working with Anna, I find myself developing a stronger, healthier, pain free practice and body.
